Whenever accused child murderer (and defrocked priest) Bill Ryan is near a telephone, it wails a continuous ring. As soon as somebody answers it, the caller, a long-dead boy, begs to be rescued from the psycho who killed him. A fugitive from the law, Ryan (using the alias Will Ryerson) is stalked by a primeval and malevolent force across America in this successfully formulaic installment of the horror series begun in The Keep. Detective Sergeant Renaldo Augustino is also hunting Ryan, and plans to torture Ryan before arresting him. Meanwhile, the evil entity is settling an old grudge with Ryan by killing his loved ones. However, the fugitive’s fear is neither of apprehension nor death, but of the child whom he buried five years ago in an unmarked grave. A large cast of characters fleshes out the ranks in Wilson’s stagy battle pitting good against evil

In his time he has slain kings, leaders of industry and some of the most power figures in the history of mankind. But that’s all in the past.

But now his past is coming back for him… His name is Jonathan Crowley, and he is relentless and unforgiving.

The old saying “the Devil is in the details,” might well be true, but how can you know if what you see is the work of a deity or a demon? That perhaps is a matter of perspective. There are myriad answers to the questions of fate, synchronicity and destiny. Just as there are there are any number of ways in which a quilt can be made, countless different patterns and shapes that can be put together in the making of the thing and little of it ever seems to be deliberate, unless you take the time to look at the big picture. Seen as a single unit, the pattern emerges, if the people behind the design have done their part properly.

Seen from a proper perspective a logic and rhythm present themselves that could easily be lost without the added distance. The same seems to be true, on occasion, with the scheme of how human lives interact. There may be truth in that or merely false perceptions. A lot of it seems to depend on who you speak to, who you ask. The patterns that are seen after all is said and done could be coincidence, or they could in fact be the machinations of some greater force.

A visit then, to see the pieces, placed as they are around the town of Beldam Woods, to watch them as they are chosen and stitched into one another, to make a pattern out of patchwork.

TERMINAL: The Play by Brian Keene & Roy C. Booth (Limited Edition)

Publisher: Morning Star 2008

This is a signed limited edition hardcover

Book is in new unread condition

BONUS: This book also comes with the very rare chapbook STONE TEARS by Brian Keene.

This book is being published by Morning Star an imprint of Bloodletting Press

William Shakespeare once wrote that all the world is a stage, and all the men and women in the world are merely players upon that stage, each with their own entrances and exits.

But while this may be true, you’ve never seen an exit like Tommy O’Brien’s…

Since it’s initial publication, Brian Keene’s Terminal has been hailed by critics as “this generations’ The Girl Next Door”, “emotionally brutal”, “gritty yet sublime”, “a seminal work in the Brian Keene canon”, and “a bleak, grim reality play”.

Now that reality play is indeed a reality. Brian Keene and the esteemed, award-winning playwright Roy C. Booth have teamed up for a stage adaptation of Terminal that will appeal to both old and new fans alike.

If you’ve read the novel and think you know the story of Tommy, Sherm, Benji, and the rest, think again. While faithful to the novel, Terminal: The Play delivers more twists and turns and adds new layers of depth to Tommy’s struggle to survive—and its ultimate aftermath.

Who is the Judas Goat?

It had been twenty years since Lenny Cates had seen or heard from his old college flame Sheena. Theirs had been a brief and tumultuous relationship that ended badly, so when Lenny is notified that Sheena has died in a freak accident and has left her entire estate to him, he feels compelled to investigate the last days leading to her untimely death. As Lenny arrives in town to settle her affairs, he begins to dig deeper into Sheena’s life and learns her final days were cast in shadows of loneliness, depression and experiments in black magic. Soon, Lenny will discover that Sheena’s death has awakened something insatiably demonic and old as mankind, something lying in wait and growing stronger in a quiet little town where the horrors of the past never truly die, pain is eternal, and nothing is as it seems.

Look closer…sometimes evil hides in plain sight.

CHERRY HILL Lettered Edition Is Now Up For Preorder

CHERRY HILL by James A. Moore: Volume I in the John Crowley series. (Lettered Edition Hardcover)

This is a leather bound and traycased edition signed by the author and is limited to only 26 copies.

This is volume I in the John Crowley series

Welcome to Cherry Hill. Attendance is mandatory.

The Cherry Hill Sanitarium isn’t a friendly place. The inmates are among the most mentally deranged and dangerous minds known to the world. It’s the sort of place that sane people would do well to avoid, if they value their lives.

John Doe is not a normal man. He can’t remember his name, nor much of his past. He’s almost certain he’s been dead for a while, and that the asylum that has become his residence is haunted by more than broken minds and twisted memories.

John isn’t wrong. Something dark is growing inside the walls of the asylum, something that festers and hungers to be free of its prison. That something has never lived before, but it wants to live now, even if it has to destroy everything it encounters to get its way.

John Doe might just be the only person in the world who can stop the madness that is trying to be born into the walls of Cherry Hill. He might be the only chance for the staff and the patients
alike. The problem isn’t simply that he can’t remember how to help them.

It’s worse than that. John Doe is almost certain that if he does remember his past, the knowledge could very well drive him mad.
